Storyboards

& Animation

I just recently finished an intensive class in storyboarding, using storyboard pro from toon boom. The entire class was a lot of fun, and realized a lot of things I had been doing right and wrong when boarding. Below are a few things I’ve worked on in storyboards, animation, illustration and personal projects.

My final project for the intensive course in Storyboards at the NAD in Montreal. All done in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro 20. I also had a lot of fun designing characters, BGs and providing all the voices with the help of GarageBand.

Way behind on rent and in a low paying job, Norman Penny desperately answers a bizarre spam e-mail which grants him super powers as Captain Paycheck! These powers, limited only by his noggin’s imagination, have one major catch: each power costs him money. If he decides to fly, it will cost him 2$ a minute (plus monthly access fees). A super punch will set him back by 12$ plus taxes, and x-ray vision is a cool 10$, eight with rebate. No problem for Donald Trump, but unfortunately Norman is flat ass broke and living paycheck to paycheck.
